Ingredients:
o Boneless chicken 500 grams
o Eggs boiled and sliced 4 Pcs
o Basmati rice 1 & 1/2 cups
o Onions sliced 3 medium
o Onions sliced and fried 2 medium
o Tomatoes chopped 3 medium
o Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
o Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
o Fresh mint leaves & Coriander Leaves few
o Oil 4 tablespoons
o Bay leaves 3 Pcs
o Star Anise 2 Pcs
o Cinnamon 2 inch stick
o Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
o Green cardamoms 2-3 Pcs
o Cloves 6-7 Pcs
o Green chilies slit 3-4 Pcs
o Thick yogurt 1 cup
o Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
o Salt as per taste
o Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
o Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
o Rose water a few drops
o Desi Ghee 1 teaspoon.
o Raisin and Cashewnuts 1 teaspoon for garnish.
Cooking Method | 4-5 Minutes
Cut Fresh Baramati Agro chicken in one inch pieces. Boil Basmati rice and set aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, Star anise, bay leaves, cloves, green cardamoms and sauté for half a few minute.
Add sliced onions and sauté. Add slit green chilies and chicken cubes and continue to sauté. Add turmeric powder and mix well. Then add Chopped tomatoes and mix.Add ginger-garlic paste, Salt, red chilli powder and yogurt. Mix all well for till chicken cook tender.
In pot Add boiled rice on top add half the fried brown onions. Sprinkle Garam masala powder, ginger strips, mint leaves and Mint and coriander leaves. Sprinkle rose water and remaining browned onions, Fried cashewnut and raisin add desi ghee on top.
Place the pot on low heat & Cover the pot and cook for about ten minutes. Garnish with the 4pcs of sliced egg & serve hot.
